Jayco Unveils Skylark Ultra-lightweight Trailer at Louisville

Jayco introduced a new ultra-lite travel trailer at the National RV Trade Show at Louisville this week. It is unlike anything else Jayco has to offer. The new Skylark has a V-nose for less wind drag and many features found in European travel trailers towed by smaller vehicles. Rounded cabinetry, aluminum tubular floor and new, lighter construction should make this a popular coach with customers with smaller vehicles.
Only 1 model was on display and I'm unsure when other models will be available. The unit was a 22 footer and only weighs 2950 lbs. with a 295 lb. hitch weight. Sharp looking trailer--see below!
